Tragic Accident on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Claims Five Lives and Injures Eight

In a devastating turn of events, a fatal accident occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, claiming the lives of five individuals and leaving eight others injured.

The incident took place on January 15, 2024, and involved a Toyota Hiace bus and a trailer.

The bus driver lost control as a result of speeding, according to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), which was the cause of the accident.

The bus, which was carrying 18 passengers, collided with the trailer, resulting in the tragic loss of life and numerous injuries.

The injured victims were taken to nearby hospitals for medical attention, while the deceased were transported to a local morgue.

The FRSC has urged drivers to exercise caution and adhere to speed limits to prevent similar accidents in the future.
