President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will receive the APC's presidential certificate and flag on Sunday in Abuja.
The party held its presidential primary across Nigeria on Saturday. Results are currently being collated nationwide.
Bayo Onanuga, the President's Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, made the announcement in a statement Thursday.
According to him, the presentation ceremony happens after officials finish tallying primary votes from all states.
It'll take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre. The venue sits in Nigeria's capital.
APC governors are expected to attend the event. National Executive Committee members will also be present.
Members of the National Working Committee and National Assembly lawmakers have confirmed their attendance. Senior party officials and stakeholders will gather to witness the ceremony.
Tinubu clinched the APC ticket as the party's standard-bearer for next year's presidential election.
The development marks the official start of his campaign preparations for 2027.
