Nigeria's track and field contingent will chase more medals at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games across multiple events. Kayinsola Ajayi, Favour Ashe, and Nicholas Fakorede will run in the men's 100 metres semi-finals.

Three women sprinters—Rosemary Chukwuma, Miracle Ezechukwu, and Blessing Ogundiran—will fight for spots in the women's 100 metres final. Oyesade Olatoye will take to the hammer throw circle in the women's final, targeting a medal-winning performance.

In boxing, Patricia Mbata will step into the ring for her women's 75 kilogrammes quarter-final bout. The Nigerian team has started the Games strongly, collecting six gold medals and four silver so far.
