Surgery Performed on Mr Ibu to Amputate One Leg

One of the legs of John Okafor, a popular Nollywood comedian known as Mr. Ibu, has been amputated after a series of surgeries.

The actor’s official Instagram account shared the news on Monday, saying that he had undergone seven successful operations but that one of his legs had to be cut off to save his life.

The statement said that the family was facing a difficult time and had to accept the new reality of the actor.

The family also asked for the support of Nigerians and thanked everyone who had helped him so far.

The statement promised that the actor would personally appreciate all his supporters as soon as he was stable.
