Coordinator of the Delta North APC Advocates, Comrade Collins Eze Onwenna, has hailed Senator Ned Nwoko as a visionary leader whose influence transcends political office. Speaking during an online debate, Onwenna described the Senator representing Delta North in the National Assembly as a figure of national and international acclaim, long before his current role in politics.
Onwenna highlighted Nwoko’s instrumental role in Nigeria’s Paris Club Refund case, which, through his law firm, Linas International, led to the recovery of billions of dollars for the country’s 774 local government councils, 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory, and the federal government. "Nwoko does not chase unattainable ventures. Anything he sets his eyes on, he achieves," Onwenna asserted.
He emphasized that Senator Nwoko’s global recognition and accomplishments surpass those of many politicians in Nigeria, including some governors. "Nwoko is too big to be threatened by elections. Outside the president and former presidents, he ranks among the few Nigerians who have made significant global impact," Onwenna added.
Onwenna further noted that Senator Nwoko’s success does not hinge on holding political office, but rather on his passion for reshaping policies and advancing advocacy for the betterment of Nigeria. "Political office does not confer any extra advantage on him. He is only helping to reshape Nigeria for the greater good," he said.
The APC coordinator also lauded Nwoko’s ongoing efforts in championing the creation of Anioma State, a long-cherished aspiration of the Anioma people. Nwoko has assured his constituents that the pursuit of Anioma State is not motivated by personal ambition but by a commitment to fulfilling the dreams of the Anioma people.
"Among all the Senators that have represented Delta North, Senator Nwoko stands out as the only one fighting passionately for the Anioma cause. His determination is unmatched, and his zeal is unbeatable," Onwenna said.
Nwoko has also been pursuing transformative projects for Delta North, including the stepdown of the Okpai power plant, the Ogwashi Uku dam, the construction of Oko Road, and the conversion of the Federal College of Education in Asaba to a Federal University of Technology.
Onwenna described Nwoko’s efforts as a legacy-driven mission to leave tangible infrastructure for the Anioma people and future generations. "He is not just making promises; he is delivering results that will benefit Anioma for years to come," he stated.
The Delta North Senator has been making headlines for his legislative accomplishments, particularly his commitment to bills aimed at fostering development in the region.
With his unmatched dedication to his constituents and the Anioma cause, Senator Ned Nwoko continues to redefine leadership, proving that his vision and actions are driven by a genuine desire to create lasting impact.
