In a determined effort to improve healthcare delivery in Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko has donated medical equipment worth millions of naira to primary healthcare centers across the region.
The donation ceremony, held in Idumuje-Ugboko, Aniocha North Local Government Area, marked the fulfillment of Senator Nwoko's electoral promise to enhance healthcare services, particularly for rural communities.
During the presentation, medical facilities such as hospital beds, trolley stretchers, examination and delivery couches, nursery cots, syringes, stethoscopes, diagnostic sets, sterilizers, and dressing forceps were distributed. Additional items included refrigerators, generating sets, cookers, solar lamps, fire extinguishers, benches, and chairs to complement the equipment and ensure improved healthcare operations.

The facilities were handed over to primary healthcare centers in Aniocha North, Ika North East, Oshimili South, and Ndokwa West local government areas. The items were received by the executive secretaries of the respective local government health authorities—Dr. Chiemeka Samson, Ekakitie Nkemdili, Aruegbe Violet, and Ogwu Fidelis—on behalf of their communities.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Michael Nwoko, who represented Senator Ned Nwoko, reiterated the senator's commitment to fulfilling his campaign pledges, particularly in addressing healthcare challenges in rural areas. The donations, he noted, reflect Senator Nwoko's vision for a healthier and more prosperous Delta North.
The local government health officials expressed profound gratitude to Senator Nwoko, lauding his gesture as timely and exemplary. They commended his unwavering dedication to improving healthcare access and urged other leaders to emulate his efforts.
