Senator Ned Munir Nwoko has reiterated his dedication to national progress during a media engagement that spotlighted five key bills he sponsored in the Senate, alongside his ongoing efforts to empower grassroots entrepreneurs.

At the event, Senator Nwoko provided ₦5 million in financial support to young entrepreneurs, demonstrating his commitment to fostering economic growth at the grassroots level. He also shared his experience recovering $1.2 million in frozen funds through British authorities, highlighting the significance of integrity and accountability in wealth acquisition.

Addressing the global stigmatization of Nigerians, Nwoko attributed it to poor leadership and a lack of opportunities, which often drive individuals toward criminal activities. He called for better governance and leadership to reverse this trend.

The Senator also emphasized the urgency of tackling malaria, criticizing stakeholders for their lack of commitment. He stressed that with strong leadership and resource mobilization, Nigeria could lead the charge against the disease.

In a touching moment, young Nigerians presented him with the Beacon of Hope for a Dignified Future award, applauding his visionary leadership and impactful legislative work. The event also included gifts recognizing his contributions to sports development and scholarships through his newly established Sports University.

Senator Nwoko assured attendees that his office’s Directorate of Communication would sustain regular interactions to gather feedback, bridge legislative gaps, and strengthen his connection with the people.
