Delta Central Senator, Ede Dafinone, has extended warm birthday felicitations to former Minister of Information and senior Okakoru of Okpe Kingdom, Professor Sam Oyovbaire, as he clocks 84 years.
In a statement personally signed by the Senator, Dafinone described Prof. Oyovbaire as “a respected elder statesman” whose life has exemplified “intellectual depth, principled leadership, and unwavering dedication to public service.”

He noted that Oyovbaire’s contributions to national development, public policy, and political thought have continued to resonate across generations, especially in the Okpe Kingdom where he holds a revered traditional and political role.
“As you celebrate this remarkable milestone, we pray that the Almighty God blesses you with divine health, enduring wisdom, and renewed strength to continue offering leadership to our people,” Dafinone added.
