Mustafa Salihu has officially entered Adamawa's governorship race. The former APC North-East vice chairman made the announcement in Yola on Tuesday.

Salihu displayed his nomination and expression of interest forms to cheering supporters. He also inaugurated his campaign headquarters during the event.

Speaking to the crowd, he called for backing as he pursues his ambition to govern the state. According to him, APC unity and loyalty remain essential for electoral success.

Bathiya Wesley, Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, endorsed Salihu's candidacy. He argued that Governor Ahmadu Fintiri's tenure requires a successor of proven capability.

Senator Binta Masi Garba attended the ceremony. Captain Yusuf Buba, a former federal lawmaker, was also present alongside several state assembly members.
