Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, Vows to Keep Wike’s Camp Restless Amidst PDP Crisis

Governor Sim Fubara has declared that he will keep the camp of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, restless.
Fubara issued this warning during the groundbreaking ceremony of an automobile spare parts market in Port Harcourt, where he addressed the purported list of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Caretaker Committee members for the state circulating on social media as fake.
Fubara accused the list, which includes the names of some Wike loyalists, of being the work of “cheap publicity seekers and agents of crisis.”
He emphasized that the list is not going to stand, as it was not the decision of the party’s National Executive Council (NEC).
Fubara further stated that the NEC meeting scheduled for April 18 would ratify the decision to extend the Executive Councils in affected states, including Rivers State, for three months without adding new names.
The Rivers State Governor also assured his supporters that they should not be worried about the circulating list and promised to continue making Wike’s camp restless.
He emphasized that his administration would continue to hit them hard and that they would not know where the attacks were coming from.
The ongoing crisis in Rivers State has its roots in the political fallout between Governor Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
Since the rift began, there has been a wave of political unrest in the state, with both camps trading accusations and engaging in public confrontations.
The Rivers State Governor’s declaration highlights the ongoing political tension between the camps of Governor Sim Fubara and Minister Nyesom Wike.
As the situation continues to unfold, the people of Rivers State are watching closely to see how this political crisis will impact the governance and development of their state.
