Prophet and Six Others Arrested for Gruesome Ritual Killing in Ogun State

In a shocking turn of events, a seven-man gang, allegedly specialized in trading human parts and conducting money rituals, has been apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command.

The suspects were arrested on Thursday after a report of a missing lady, Ms. Sulaiimon Adijat, was filed on January 9, 2024.

According to the Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu, the suspects were identified as Moses Abidemi, Oluwo Samuel Monday, Prophet Peter Akiwunmi Ifatosin, Jamiu Yusuf, Sheriff Agbai, and Osojieahen Alioneitoura.

The police recovered a human heart and two kegs filled with human body parts from the suspects.

The gang allegedly lured the victim, Adijat, to a hotel in Atan Ota, where she was later taken to a shrine and brutally murdered.

Her dismembered body parts were then distributed among the suspects for the purpose of conducting a money ritual.

This horrific crime has sent shockwaves through the community and has raised concerns about the increasing trend of ritual killings in Nigeria.

The police have assured the public that they are taking this case seriously and are working to ensure that justice is served.

As the investigation continues, the police urge anyone with information about the case or similar crimes to come forward and assist in bringing the perpetrators to justice.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of vigilance and the need for stronger measures to prevent such heinous acts from occurring in the future.
