President Tinubu’s Call for Global Peace and Stability

Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu addressed members of the Diplomatic Corps and Heads of International Organizations during Iftar (the breaking of Ramadan Fast) at the State House in Abuja.
Emphasizing the values of tolerance and perseverance, President Tinubu urged the envoys to convey the message of peace and stability to their respective countries, highlighting the importance of collective responsibility in fostering peace worldwide.
Reflecting on the essence of Ramadan, President Tinubu underscored the importance of self-denial, sharing, tolerance, and perseverance in achieving peace and stability across the globe.
He urged the Diplomatic Corps to extend their care and support to the needy and the vulnerable, emphasizing the interconnectedness of global peace and economic stability.
“There will be no economic stability without peace in the world,” President Tinubu stated, urging unity in promoting peace and stability globally.
Ambassador Salaheddine Abbas Ibrahim, High Commissioner of Cameroon and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, expressed gratitude for the invitation to share Iftar with President Tinubu and conveyed the international community’s support for Nigeria in its pursuit of peace and prosperity.
At the State House Mosque, President Tinubu joined Muslim faithful in the closing of the Ramadan Tafsir, urging them to uphold the lessons of the Holy month beyond the fasting season by living in peace and harmony with one another.
This call for solidarity and goodwill highlights President Tinubu’s commitment to fostering a peaceful and stable world, particularly in Africa and troubled spots around the globe.
