Police Parade Suspected Killers Of Imo DPO, Inspector

The police in Imo State have nabbed the alleged murderers of a DPO and an inspector at Ahiazu Mbaise LGA of the state.

On Sunday, the Police Commissioner, Danjuma Aboki, showed the suspects to the press at the Command Headquarters in Owerri, the capital of Imo State. He said that the police and other security forces had stormed the camp of IPOB/ESN at Umuohie in Ngor Okpala LGA of the state after working hard to track down the killers of the police officers.

He said that many terrorists were chased away, and many weapons and bullets were seized from the hoodlums.

The police commissioner also said that they arrested some other crooks for different crimes, such as IPOB/ESN terrorism, robbery, murder, theft, cultism, and illegal guns and bullets.

The suspects are on display at the police headquarters in Imo State.

He said that these suspects were clearly connected to their crimes, while some other hoodlums were killed in a fierce shootout with the police.

He said that during the investigation, they recovered 18 assault rifles, five AK-47 rifles, six pump actions, and 359 bullets from the suspects, as well as six cars, motorcycles, charms, army clothes, police, and other evidence.
