PDP Stronger and More United Nationwide- Governor Oborevwori

Delta State Governor, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has recently assured that the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is more united and stronger from the ward to the national level.

During a recent PDP stakeholders meeting in Asaba, Governor Oborevwori stated that members and the party are united and there is cooperation everywhere.

He emphasized that Delta State is firm and the party is strong, with no cause for concern.

At the national level, Governor Oborevwori also expressed confidence that the ward, local government, state, and zonal congresses of the party will be held this year once the National Executive Council (NEC) meet to decide on the exercise.

With local government council elections coming up soon, Governor Oborevwori urged leaders and party stakeholders to be ready for the council election, as the tenure of the current local government council chairmen expires on March 8.

Former governors of the state, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan and Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, also encouraged leaders of the party to continue working in one accord for the sustainable victory of the party in subsequent elections.

State chairman of the party, Chief Kingsley Esiso, lauded Governor Oborovweri for his good works since coming into office and commended the leaders and stakeholders for their contributions leading to the victory of the party in the last general elections.

In a significant show of support, a vote of confidence was passed on Governor Oborevwori for his good work across the state, emphasizing the unity and strength of the PDP in Delta State and nationwide.
