Peter Obi, the former Anambra governor, is at the NDC headquarters in Abuja right now. He's there with ex-Kano governor Rabi'u Kwankwaso and Senator Victor Umeh of Anambra Central.

Sources indicate the three politicians will formally announce their decision to join the party. This move comes just hours after Obi stepped down from the African Democratic Congress over internal disputes.

Kwankwaso hasn't publicly resigned from the ADC yet. But insiders say he's moving in lockstep with Obi as both pursue the 'OK' ticket arrangement.
