Frank Onyeka has earned a nomination for Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month in April. The Coventry City midfielder shone consistently as his club secured promotion to the Premier League.

Onyeka made three appearances for the Sky Blues that month and provided one assist. He set up Ephron Mason-Clark in stoppage time for Coventry's third goal in a crucial match.

Since arriving on loan from Brentford in January, the 28-year-old has featured in 14 league games. He's contributed one goal and one assist under manager Frank Lampard's direction.

Other nominees for the award include Christian Walton of Ipswich Town and Portsmouth's Adrian Segečić. Josh Windass (Wrexham), Mohamed Touré (Norwich City), and Žan Vipotnik (Swansea City) complete the shortlist.
