The immediate past Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has described Mr. Austin Alegeh, SAN as a bastion in the fight to uphold the rule of law and fair justice in the judiciary, as the learned silk clock 60.
In a message to Mr. Alegeh on his 60th birthday which he personally signed, Senator Omo-Agege, the Obarisi of Urhoboland, noted that Alegeh has never wavered in his commitment to enthroning quick and fair dispensation of justice.
He said: "All your years at the bar are characterised by unrelenting campaign to make justice not only fair but also timely.
"In the quest for fair and prompt delivery of justice, few match your commitment and doggedness.
"In your distinguished career that has taken you to the apogee of the legal profession, you have never betrayed your dedication and devotion to a just and fair society.
"My brother, as you strike Diamond today, I pray you will live long and healthy to see the birth of your vision for the judiciary in Nigeria.
