Former Deputy President of the Senate in the 9th Assembly, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has lauded Hon. Evance Ochuko Ivwurie as a community peace builder and an exemplary lawmaker who championed peaceful coexistence and development during his time in public office.
This commendation was made by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, in a goodwill message celebrating Ivwurie’s 58th birthday.
The statement signed by Mr. Sunny Areh, his Media Adviser, Omo-Agege, praised Ivwurie’s dedication to fostering peace, recalling his swift and effective intervention in resolving the Ovre-r’eku and Ovre-r’igun community dispute during his tenure as a member representing Ethiope East Local Government Area in the Delta State House of Assembly. It is a legacy that precedes you and continues to speak for you," the former Deputy Senate President who was the gubernatorial flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections stated.
He further commended Ivwurie for his unwavering dedication to the welfare of his people and his ability to address their needs through actionable representation.
