Governor Dapo Abiodun has named Mr. Olanrewaju Iskeel Saka as Ogun's new Head of Public Service.

The appointment comes after Mr. Kehinde Onasanya retired from the position.

Saka previously served as Permanent Secretary in the Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services. He joined Ogun's civil service as a classroom teacher in 1993.

His career took a turn in 2006 when he moved to mainstream administration as a Senior Administrative Officer. Born on February 15, 1968, Saka has built a reputation as a skilled policy expert.

He holds membership in several professional organizations across Nigeria. These include the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.

Saka also serves as a Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development. His qualifications span decades of public sector work.

Secretary to the State Government Tokunbo Talabi announced the decision in a statement on Friday. Talabi cited Saka's work ethic, loyalty, and service record as reasons for the appointment.

According to him, the new Head of Service has shown outstanding commitment throughout his years in government. His experience in coordination and implementation will guide Ogun's public service going forward.
