Oborevwori: More for Deltans

By Ejiroghene Praise Akpomedaye,

It is no news that from the onset, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has always emphasized the importance of serving Deltans with his power-packed M.O.R.E agenda, where he categorically stated that his administration will deliver the dividends of democracy to all Deltans.

I can tell you for free that the M.O.R.E agenda is centered on benefiting all Deltans and not a selected few.

There is no doubt that Deltans are experiencing the effects of the M.O.R.E agenda in every corner of the state. It is evident that Deltans are experiencing M - Meaningful Development.

Take a good look at all inherited projects from the previous administration. For example, the Ughelli-Asaba road and the Ndokwa-West Kwale-Beneku bridge were projects handed over to this present administration, and now they are accessible, soon to be commissioned.

He also completed and commissioned a six-story high court building and introduced 140 new roads, in addition to the 377 inherited projects underway.

The construction of judges' and commissioners' quarters is also ongoing, and he also provided vehicles for judges and permanent secretaries across the state.

The M.O.R.E agenda has also provided O - Opportunities for all, as the governor's Wessaap, More BizUp, More Grants, and D-CARES initiatives have benefited over 200,000 youths under Governor Oborevwori's M.O.R.E agenda.

The D-CARES beneficiaries increased from 36,353 to 208,209 in one year.

The governor implemented a 25-35% salary review for tertiary staff, employed 600 new personnel, and provides bursaries for over 30,000 students annually. He also established a new campus for Southern Delta University in Orerokpe.

The governor employed over 3,000 teaching and non-teaching staff to enhance primary education.

In terms of E - Enhanced Peace and Security, it is visible to all that the state is experiencing flexibility in terms of security.

There is no cause for alarm, as security agencies are in check, with the governor providing 31 brand-new security vehicles to Operation DELTA SWEEP.

Moreover, in R - Realistic Reforms, the governor also distributed feeds to farmers to boost agriculture and disbursed over N500 million in grants to traders and artisans.

Should I talk more about the innovations and renovations of healthcare centers and schools around the nooks and crannies of the state?

A situation where the government is working without borrowing a dime but rather offsetting previous debts is something one should commend instead of listening to fake tales by moonlight cooked up by people who barely want true change and fair governance but are rather struggling to maintain power and relevance politically.

While they are fighting and struggling for power, His Excellency is feeling the pains of his people. This is a big gap between the hardworking governor and his counterparts.

Recently, This Day Newspaper and Arise Television nominated the governor among the Best Governors of the Year, because truly the works of the governor are visible and people are testifying.

Do you know the difference between the governor and his opposition? Let me tell you: Governor Sheriff Oborevwori wants to serve while the others want to be served.

A listening governor is what the people prayed to God for, and in turn, God gave Deltans His son, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

Deltans are aware that Governor Sheriff assumed office because God allowed it. Abi you don see who win 38 lawsuits for this country?

Take it or leave it, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is impressed with the governor and is supporting Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's administration.

Now, do you know I can write in pages and paragraphs, but then, the works of the governor are visible for all to see.

I always flood my page with visible works of the governor, and you all will agree with me that this administration is working relentlessly to give Deltans M.O.R.E.

Truly, the governor means well for his people, and yes, Governor Sheriff is working. It is visible, and Deltans can see it.

As citizens of the state, I urge us all to support our amiable governor. As he would always say, "I will do M.O.R.E," then Deltans should expect M.O.R.E!

Naysayers should refrain from confusing the populace but accept the fact that the governor has won the heart of his people through his transparent leadership.

It is Sheriff till 2031... the opposition party should relax and allow God to use His son to lead his people.
