Inspired2Lead wrapped up a five-day training initiative for Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) staff in Lagos. The programme aimed to boost regulatory expertise as the nation's gas and energy sector continues to evolve.
Odeyemi Olayiwole, chief executive of Inspired2Lead, told participants they had a crucial chance to sharpen their skills during the sessions. He stressed that regulators play a vital role in shaping Nigeria's energy future.
"The changing energy landscape demands continuous learning, adaptability, and a commitment to driving efficiency and excellence in service delivery," he said.
Industry experts Mer Best and Abiola Soremekun led sessions exploring gas and liquefied natural gas developments, regulatory best practices, and energy's trajectory. The five days included interactive group presentations where participants learned from peers and applied concepts discussed in real-world scenarios.
Staff members told organisers the training deepened their grasp of industry dynamics and equipped them for stronger regulatory performance. Many highlighted how the programme fostered relationships with colleagues from different NMDPRA departments they hadn't previously worked alongside.
Shina Salako, one of the facilitators, noted that programme success demonstrates Inspired2Lead's commitment to human capital development across public and private institutions. He added that his firm remains dedicated to supporting organisations through leadership development, management consulting and capacity-building work.
"We'll continue backing institutions through initiatives aimed at improving performance and driving sustainable growth," he said.
Inspired2Lead stated it stays committed to equipping organisations and leaders with essential skills for national development as Nigeria pursues economic expansion.
