Niger Tornadoes has terminated the technical crew and support staff at their feeder team. The club announced the decision as part of a wider restructuring plan heading into the 2026-27 season.
Club secretary Haruna Jibrin signed off on the statement released on Friday detailing the changes. He made clear that players at the feeder team would keep their positions.
"For the avoidance of doubt, the disengagement announced by the club applies only to members of the feeder team's technical crew and supporting staff," the statement read.
All feeder team players have been instructed to stay ready for action. The club said it would announce the training resumption date once the restructuring wraps up and a new technical crew takes over.
According to the club, the players faced no impact from the exercise. Niger Tornadoes stressed that squad continuity remained intact despite the management shake-up.
The restructuring reflects the club's push to strengthen operations ahead of the new campaign. Officials are working to install fresh technical leadership across the organisation.
