Chairman of the inauguration committee for Niger governor-elect, Dr Mohammed Santuraki, set up 12 subcommittees on Thursday in Minna for the exercise.
The subcommittees are on security, medical, venue, accommodation, transport and logistics, lectures, protocol, welfare, entertainment, special events and novelty football match.
Santuraki said the subcommittees would ensure smooth and peaceful handing over to the newly elected governor.
He explained that members were selected and approved by the governor-elect to be part of the main committee.
He enjoined members to team up and ensure the success of the inauguration.
