Navy’s Efforts Against Crude Oil Theft Deserve Recognition – Agbese

The Deputy Spokesperson of the House of Representatives, Chief Philip Agbese, has refuted claims of the Nigerian Navy’s involvement in crude oil theft within the Niger Delta region.

He emphasized that the Navy should be praised for their significant contribution in safeguarding the country’s maritime domain and for their efforts in combating illicit activities like piracy, smuggling, and oil bunkering.

Chief Agbese highlighted the Navy’s significant contributions to combating crude oil theft and maritime crimes in the Niger Delta and across the country.

He emphasized the importance of the Navy’s role in securing the nation’s maritime domain and commended their vigilance in fighting against crude oil theft.

The Nigerian Navy has been at the forefront of the fight against crude oil theft and other maritime crimes in the Niger Delta and other parts of the country.

The Navy has been collaborating with other security agencies to curb illegal activities such as piracy, smuggling, and oil bunkering.

Chief Agbese also called on the public to support the Navy in its efforts to safeguard the nation’s maritime domain and curb illegal activities.

He urged the media to be responsible and factual in their reportage and to avoid sensationalism and misinformation that could undermine the morale and confidence of the Navy and other security agencies.
