Monthly environmental sanitation exercise holds in Delta State on Saturday

The monthly environmental sanitation exercise will hold in Delta State on Saturday April 27, 2019 between the hours of 7.00 am and 10.00 am.

A statement signed by the Director of Information, Mr Paul Osahor JP, said there will be no restriction on the movement of persons and vehicles and those involved in inter-state journey and those engaged in essential duties are also free to go about their legitimate duties.

The statement said the State Commissioner for Environment, Honourable John Nani, staff of the Ministry of Environment, Waste Management Board, and other relevant authorities will monitor the clean up exercise while the local government authorities are directed to evacuate the resultant refuse for proper disposal. It called on Deltans and residents in the state to participate actively in the exercise
