Massive Delta North Rallies Boost Ned Nwoko’s Re-Election Bid Ahead of APC Primaries

Political momentum continued to gather across Delta North Senatorial District as massive rallies held in Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, Oshimili South, Aniocha North, and Ika North East recorded overwhelming support for Senator Ned Nwoko's re-election bid ahead of the APC primaries.

The rallies attracted large crowds of party faithful, traditional and community leaders, youths, women groups, and grassroots supporters, all of whom openly declared support for Senator Nwoko’s continued representation of Delta North at the National Assembly.

In Emu Ebendo, Ndokwa West Local Government Area, the atmosphere was electrifying as supporters thronged the consultation venue in large numbers, chanting solidarity songs and endorsing the senator for another term in office.

Stakeholders from across Ndokwa Nation described the consultations as reflecting the growing acceptance, popularity, and political strength of Senator Nwoko within Delta North.

Speaking during the consultations, the Director-General of the campaign, Hon. Samuel Kerry, said the impressive turnout across the various local government areas demonstrated the increasing public confidence in Senator Nwoko’s leadership, legislative performance, and constant engagement with constituents.

According to him, the ongoing consultations are designed to deepen unity across Delta North while consolidating grassroots structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In Ashaka, Ndokwa East Local Government Area, stakeholders unanimously endorsed Senator Nwoko, commending what they described as his visible and impactful representation at the Senate. Community leaders, party executives, youths, and women's groups praised the senator for maintaining strong connections with the grassroots and consistently projecting issues affecting Delta North at the national level.

Similar endorsements were witnessed across Oshimili South, Aniocha North, and Ika North East, where supporters described Senator Nwoko as accessible, responsive, and committed to the development and advancement of the senatorial district.

Many of the speakers at the rallies noted that the senator’s interventions, advocacy, and national visibility had significantly strengthened the political relevance of Delta North, while also attracting greater attention to the needs and aspirations of the people.

Community leaders stressed the importance of continuity in leadership, arguing that sustained representation would help consolidate ongoing development initiatives across the district. Youth and women representatives also pledged to mobilise massive support for Senator Nwoko ahead of the APC primaries and the 2027 elections.

The rallies were marked by coordinated endorsements, chants of solidarity, and widespread expressions of confidence in Senator Nwoko’s leadership, with political observers describing the scale of mobilisation across the five local government areas as a strong indication of growing momentum behind his re-election bid.
