Sarah Ivie Adidi wants to represent AMAC/Bwari in the House of Representatives. She's running on the APC platform for the 2027 election.
Adidi recently completed a tour of wards across the area council. She visited Ushafa, Bwari Central, Kuduru, Kubwa, Usuma, Byazhin and Dutse Alhaji during the exercise.
The aspirant met with party leaders and grassroots stakeholders at each stop. She wanted to listen to residents directly.
"This tour has allowed me to truly listen to the people and understand their realities firsthand," Adidi told party members. She stressed that leaders must act on what they hear.
Residents in the area face serious challenges, according to the aspirant. She believes effective representation in the National Assembly is urgently needed.
During her consultations, Adidi identified specific needs in the communities. She announced immediate interventions to address some of these concerns.
Her commitments include repainting and repairs of the APC office in Shere Ward. She'll also cover two years of rent for the Kuduru ward office.
Adidi plans to provide footballs for a tournament in Igu Ward. The initiative aims to boost youth participation and strengthen community ties.
Party leaders and stakeholders praised her grassroots engagement approach. They said her swift action on community issues has boosted confidence in her leadership.
The APC chairmen from all six FCT zones have already endorsed Adidi. That backing came during a high-level meeting in Abuja.
Senior party officials, mobilisers, and key stakeholders attended that meeting. They discussed the constituency's political future and representation needs.
According to the revised APC timetable, primaries come up on May 15, 2026. That date covers both House of Representatives and Senate elections.
