CreditPRO Finance has joined forces with Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency to champion environmental sustainability across the state.

The firm backed the Inter-Tertiary Institutions' Environmental Summit 2.0 recently. Students from Lagos tertiary schools gathered to discuss sustainability and policy fixes.

They debated a critical question. Should Lagos tackle transboundary pollution through city-level action or a national coordinated approach?

Sola Adeyiga, managing director of CreditPRO Finance, spoke at the event. He stressed that solving environmental challenges requires everyone working together.

According to him, CreditPRO's involvement shows the company's commitment to ESG targets. Sustainable growth happens when business advances match environmental protection and social responsibility.

Adeyiga noted that firms can't measure success by money alone. Organizations must embrace the triple bottom line: profit, people, and planet.

Real sustainability means creating economic value while helping society and preserving nature. That's what truly progressive companies do.

Students displayed impressive intellectual capacity during the competition. Their research and thinking skills shone as they debated governance and development issues.

Fajana Olamide Mary claimed first place overall. A 300-level Mass Communication student from Lagos State University, she won N2 million for her exceptional debate performance.

Babatunde Ajayi, LASEPA's general manager, praised all participating schools. He told reporters that young people are essential to solving environmental problems.

Ajayi highlighted the value of youth engagement in sustainability efforts. He called on institutions and partners to keep pushing environmental awareness forward.
