Lagos Red Line Rail Ready for Unveiling: Governor Sanwo-Olu Inspects Final Preparations

Lagos State’s transportation infrastructure, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu recently announced that all is set and ready for the unveiling of the highly anticipated Red Line Rail.

The Governor made this statement following a final inspection of the Ikeja train station and a successful test-run of the rail system.

During a press briefing after the test-run and inspection, Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed his satisfaction with the progress made, stating, “This one is our final inspection at the Ikeja train station, and we just finished another test-run ride on the Red Line, using one of the trains, and we have had a journey all the way till Iju and back.”

The Red Line Rail is expected to significantly improve the transportation network in Lagos State, providing an efficient and reliable means of commuting for residents.

The project has been in the works for several years and has faced numerous challenges, but with its completion, the state is set to experience a new era of efficient and modern transportation.
