Lagos Judge warns people against leaving charms in his courtroom

A Lagos State High Court judge in Ikeja, Justice Hakeem Oshodi, has issued a stern warning to the people of the state to desist from dropping charms in his courtroom.

Justice Oshodi made this statement after the start of the trial of five men accused of killing one Ifeanyi Etunmuse on Monday, November 20, 2023.

“I don’t want to see any charms in my courtroom. This is the last time I will say this. A talisman was discovered after the previous adjournment in the murder case,” the judge declared.

The judge, who called the charm ‘property’, cautioned the courtroom audience: “Don’t forget your property here again. It has no effect here.
