Lagos Deputy Commissioner of Police Found Dead in Ogbomoso Home

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Gbolahan Oyedemi, serving under the Lagos State Police Command, was found dead in his private home in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

The incident occurred shortly after the Easter weekend, when Oyedemi, a native of Ogbomoso, had returned to the town to celebrate the holiday with his family.

Oyedemi, who previously served as the Aide de Camp (ADC) to Late Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala, a former governor of Oyo State, was found hanging in his house.

The late DCP was known for his dedication to his work and had recently visited Ogbomoso from Lagos for the Easter celebrations.
