Kwara Governor Lauds Abiodun’s Infrastructure Projects in Ogun State

Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has commended his Ogun State counterpart, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for his impressive infrastructure projects during a recent visit to the state.

The Kwara Governor, who also serves as the chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), highlighted the significance of the Gateway Agro-Cargo International Airport and the 6km Siun-Owode Road in the Obafemi Owode Local Government area.

During his visit, Governor AbdulRazaq commissioned the Siun-Owode Road and praised the quality of work done, emphasizing that the road would last for many years.

He also lauded the Gateway Agro-Cargo International Airport as a game changer in the country’s aviation sector.

The airport, once completed, is expected to relieve the Muritala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos of both passenger and cargo transportation and help to decongest the airport.

The Kwara Governor described the airport as an economic airport, emphasizing its potential to change the way things are done in the future.

He praised Governor Abiodun’s commitment to infrastructure development in the state, noting that the quality of work being done in Ogun is impressive.

The Gateway Agro-Cargo International Airport and the Siun-Owode Road are part of a broader effort by the Ogun State government to improve infrastructure and stimulate economic growth in the region.

These projects are expected to have a significant impact on the lives of residents and businesses in the state, as well as contribute to the overall development of Nigeria’s aviation and transportation sectors.
