Peter Obi visited Rabiu Kwankwaso at his Abuja home on Tuesday night. Kwankwaso, the former Kano governor, confirmed the meeting on Wednesday via X.
According to Kwankwaso, Obi stopped by shortly after passing the NDC screening. "The future is bright and full of promise," he posted.
Obi had just been cleared to run for the NDC's presidential ticket. The screening committee, chaired by ex-Ebonyi governor Sam Egwu, approved him on Tuesday in Abuja.
Kwankwaso described Obi as his brother in the post. The visit signals alignment between two key figures within the party.
