Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has formed a 13-member panel to organise his administration's third anniversary events. His spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, announced the move in a statement released on Thursday.

Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Umar Farouk Ibrahim will chair the committee. Alhaji Muhammad Jalo, Permanent Secretary of Research, Evaluation and Political Affairs, takes the secretary role.

Seven commissioners sit on the panel as members. They include Works Commissioner Engr.

Marwan Ahmad and Health Commissioner Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf.

Dr. Dahir Muhammad Jashim represents Environment and Climate Change in the lineup.

Agriculture and Natural Resources falls under Dr. Danjuma Mahmoud's purview.

Education Commissioner Dr. Gwani Ali Haruna Abubakar Makoda was also named to the committee.

Hon. Abduljabbar Umar Garko brings Land and Physical Planning expertise.

Rural and Community Development Commissioner Hon. Abdulkadir Abdussalam completes the ministerial contingent.

Four additional officials round out the 13-member body.

They include Hon. Adda'u Lawan Kutama, Special Adviser at the Cabinet Office.

Alhaji Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa serves as Director General of Media and Publicity.

Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Rogo holds the Director General, Protocol position on the committee.

Hajiya Nana Asma'u Jibrin, Director General of Research and Documentation, completes the roster.

According to the statement, the committee must plan a grand celebration. Its brief includes showcasing the three years of achievements by the administration.
