Isaac Fayose has accused INEC of handing out uncollected voter cards to APC members in Ekiti. The former governor's brother made the allegation as voting commenced on Saturday.

He posted a video on X claiming widespread manipulation of the electoral process. According to him, INEC distributed Permanent Voter Cards that citizens never collected.

"No opposition party can win election in Nigeria," Fayose said in the footage. He alleged APC was paying non-indigenes N20,000 each to vote using those cards.

Governor Biodun Oyebanji of the APC faces challenger Oluwole Oluyede from the PDP. Both are major contenders in Saturday's governorship election.

Fayose's claims paint a picture of electoral manipulation at the commission's hands. His video has circulated widely on social media since the accusation.
