Police chief Olatunji Rilwan Disu has celebrated Nigerian fathers on Father's Day. He praised them for strengthening families and driving national progress.

In a statement released by CSP Anietie Iniedu, the IGP acknowledged fathers' crucial role in society. According to him, they build moral foundations that create peaceful, prosperous nations.

Disu noted that fathers instil discipline and integrity in their children. They also promote hard work and patriotism, he said.

The police boss highlighted the daily sacrifices fathers make for their families. He stressed that these efforts directly strengthen Nigeria's social fabric.

Police officers who are fathers deserved special recognition, Disu added. Many work long hours away from home while balancing parental duties.

Officers serve as dedicated guardians and role models within their households. Despite demanding responsibilities, they remain committed to family life, he noted.

Disu extended his wishes to all fathers across the country. He called for good health, strength, wisdom, and personal fulfilment for them.

Nigerians must honour and appreciate the sacrifices fathers make, he urged. Their commitment shapes Nigeria's future and contributes to national safety and prosperity.
