Idahosa Secures APC Ticket for Edo 2024 Governorship Election

In the political landscape of Edo State, House of Representatives member Dennis Idahosa has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the September 21, 2024, Edo State governorship election.

The announcement was made by Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, who is also the chairman of the APC Edo Governorship Primary Election Committee.

Idahosa secured a total of 40,4483 votes, defeating eight other aspirants in the race.

Notable contenders such as Dr Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, and Chief Lucky Imasuen had previously withdrawn from the primary election.
