The newly appointed Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Dr. Musa Adamu, has vowed to personally appear in court to defend the agency's cases.

This unprecedented step by the ICPC Chairman aims to ensure that justice is not only done but seen to be done.

Dr. Adamu made this announcement during a media parley with journalists in Abuja on Wednesday, where he also promised to lead by example.

He emphasized the importance of technology in improving the efficiency of the ICPC and expressed his determination to strengthen the legal and regulatory frameworks to support robust prosecutions.

The ICPC Chairman also highlighted the need to collaborate with other anti-corruption agencies and involve the Nigerian Law School in the fight against corruption.

He believes that working closely with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will help reduce the manpower deficit faced by the ICPC.
