I have been duly screened, Rev. Waive tells supporters

 

 

…warns opponents over malicious activities, spreading of fake rumours

Rev. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, a House of Representative Hopeful in Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal constituency on the platform of the All Progressive Congress APC has condemned the purported, malicious  spreading of fake rumour of him not been screened for the party primaries, saying that he is cleared for the race.

In a press  release, signed by Rev. Francis  Waive he frowned at the action of one of the party aspirants spreading the erroneous information noting they  aware of the role played by the said aspirant in the  mysterious dissappearnace of his file and documents from the national secratariat of the APC.

 

 

Adding that, one of the aspirants in the said constituency, name withheld; has earlier before the dissapperance of his file and document from the APC National Secretariat Abuja, gone to an APC meeting held in Agbarho Town hall with Wards 1 and 2, on September 22nd, 2018 announced to them that he, Rev. Francis Ejiroghene Waive will not be screened for the 2019 House of Representatives election.

 

 

 

 

The statement further disclosed that same aspirant had on Thursday, September 27, 2018 during the meeting of Ughelli North APC Wards and Executive meeting, told those in attendants that he, Rev. Francis Ejiroghene Waive has been disqualified by the appeal committee, while he distributed an alleged copies of petition against him to the appeal committee by an unknown individual with his missing credentials attached to it.

 

 

 

Rev. Waive has through the press release informed all his teeming supporters that he has been duly screened and cleared by the APC House of Representatives Screening Committee and will be on the ballot for the primaries which holds on October 2, 2018.

 

 

He further disclosed that his lawyers have been instructed to do the needful as security agents have been briefed to investigate the nefarious activities of the fellow aspirants.

 

 

 

Part of the release read; “I wish to make it clear to the fellow involved and his co-travellers if any, that I counted the cost before presenting myself for the elections. May I also inform him that I am aware of his recruitment of thugs to physically assault me before and during the Primaries”.

 

 

 

Rev. Waive however stressed that it is a new dawn for the people as no amount of witch-hunting, intimidation, threats, harassments and acts of cowardice will deter him.

 

 

He called on all his supporters to come out emasse and vote for him during the Primaries and as well charged all his constituents to vote APC during the coming elections.
