Governor Mbah Commissions Projects, Lauds Nsukka LG Boss

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has commissioned several road, water, and skills acquisition projects as well as a legislative building in the Nsukka Local Government Area.

The projects, spearheaded by the local government chairman, Barr. Walter Ozioko, have been lauded by Governor Mbah for their alignment with the state’s objectives to bring development to all parts of the state.

During the commissioning ceremony, Governor Mbah emphasized the importance of infrastructure and environment for businesses to thrive, encouraging investors to seize the opportunity provided by the state.

The governor also highlighted the government’s focus on water, skill acquisition, education, and critical infrastructure, which will improve the standard of living of citizens and attract investors to the state.

The projects, which include a standard commercial borehole, asphalted roads, Governor Peter Mbah Skill Acquisition Centre, and a modern legislative complex, are expected to benefit the people of the area by improving access to markets and reducing travel time.

Furthermore, the governor announced the ongoing smart school projects across the state, tailored towards skills acquisition and expansion of curriculum for hard skills such as artificial intelligence, robotics, digital technology, computer and science laboratories, and interactive smart boards.

Governor Mbah explained that the older generation lacks the necessary skills to drive the industrial revolution the state is anticipating, and the smart schools will equip students and young people with the skills required by private investors.

He also appreciated the people for their support in the last general elections and reiterated his commitment to spreading development across the state.

Governor Mbah’s commissioning of these projects in Nsukka Local Government Area marks a significant step towards the development of the state and its potential to attract investments, while also providing essential services and opportunities to its citizens.
