Governor Idris Pledges Uninterrupted Power Supply During Ramadan

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi has announced his commitment to ensuring a 24-hour power supply to the state during the forthcoming Holy Month of Ramadan.

The governor made this statement while addressing a round of questions from the press after an inspection tour of ongoing projects in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.

According to Governor Idris, he has already invited the Managing Director of the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDCO) for a round table discussion to address the electricity challenges faced by the people.

The governor expressed dissatisfaction with the current electricity situation and emphasized the importance of improved electricity supply during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

“I have already invited the Managing Director of KAEDCO for a round table discussion on how to put smiles on the faces of good people of the state,” said Governor Idris.

“My ambition is to ensure 24 hours of electricity supply, especially in the Holy Month of Ramadan.”

In addition to this, Governor Idris is also looking into the possibility of sustaining the improved power supply even after the Ramadan period.

He has promised to work diligently to fulfill all his campaign promises, including transforming the state to an enviable position, maintaining peace, and protecting the lives and property of the people.

The governor also commended the contractors and relevant ministries for their work on ongoing projects in the state and promised to initiate and execute more quality projects that directly impact the lives of the people.
