Galatasaray want to bring Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes to Istanbul this summer to partner with striker Victor Osimhen in attack, according to Turkish journalist Yakup Çınar. The respected sports reporter revealed the Turkish club's interest while discussing the transfer rumours on the 90+ Digital YouTube channel.
Fernandes is holding off on deciding his future at Old Trafford until after the World Cup concludes, Çınar told viewers. "Bruno Fernandes is definitely on Galatasaray's transfer list.
He's waiting for the World Cup, then he will make his decision," the journalist said.
Manchester United are demanding a substantial fee for their skipper, who earns £12 million annually. The club has set their asking price at €15 million, Çınar revealed.
The 29-year-old Portuguese midfielder remains one of Europe's most sought-after midfielders despite mixed performances at United in recent seasons. Any move to Turkey would represent a significant shift for the player, who joined the Red Devils from Sporting Lisbon in 2020.
Galatasaray's pursuit of Fernandes underlines their ambition to build a competitive squad around Osimhen, the prolific Nigerian forward they secured on loan from Napoli last summer.
