FCTA Promises Unwavering Security for Residents during Easter and Beyond

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has pledged to ensure the safety and security of residents throughout the Easter holiday and beyond.

The assurance comes as the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, collaborates with security agencies to deploy human and material assets to guarantee the safety of the community.

In a recent interview, the Secretary of the Command and Control Centre, FCTA, Peter Olumuji, emphasized the proactive measures taken by the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies.

These measures include deploying a substantial number of personnel for both foot and vehicular patrol, as well as undercover personnel and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) experts in all corners of the FCT.

The FCTA’s commitment to security is evident in the regular meetings held with the Nigeria Police and other security agencies, which have resulted in the deployment of more than 2,000 personnel and material assets throughout the city.

The police command in the FCT has announced the deployment of these resources to ensure a peaceful Easter celebration for all residents.

This heightened security presence will be particularly noticeable in worship and recreational centers, where EOD personnel have been strategically positioned to prevent any potential threats.

The proactive approach taken by the FCTA and its partners is a testament to their dedication to maintaining a secure environment for residents to enjoy the Easter festivities.

The FCTA’s unwavering commitment to the safety and security of residents during the Easter holiday and beyond is a reassuring message for all who call the FCT home.

With the combined efforts of the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies, residents can celebrate Easter with peace of mind, knowing that their safety is a top priority for the FCTA.
