FCT: ‘I’ve saved N110b in three months’ – Wike

Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister, has been a prudent steward of the capital’s finances. He revealed on Tuesday that he has amassed a whopping N110 billion in savings for the FCT in just three months of his tenure.

He made this disclosure at a meeting with the Estate Developers and Residents’ Associations in the FCDA Conference Hall in Abuja.

He said that he plans to allocate the money to various projects to speed up their completion and improve the quality of life in the FCT.

He asserted: “I have been in office for three months and I can confidently tell you that I have saved no less than N110 billion for the FCT. This money will be invested in projects that will benefit the people and show them that their taxes are not going to waste.”
