This was recently highlighted by the Governor of Delta State, Nigeria, who emphasized their importance in fostering growth and prosperity.

In a meeting with the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) State Coordinator, Mr. Alao Olusegun, Governor Oborevwori commended the organization for its commitment to entrepreneurship and skill development.

He also acknowledged the NYSC’s significant contribution to the development of Delta State.

The Governor recognized the importance of entrepreneurship in generating wealth and providing opportunities for young people, particularly in the face of limited job opportunities.

He emphasized that the acquisition of skills is vital in ensuring the survival of the youth and their ability to contribute to the economy.

The NYSC has played a pivotal role in promoting entrepreneurship and skill acquisition among its members.

With over 15,000 corp members serving in Delta State, the organization has made a substantial impact on sectors such as education, health, and agriculture.

Governor Oborevwori assured the NYSC of the state government’s support in addressing their requests and fostering further collaboration.

He also highlighted the importance of maintaining peace and security in the state, which has been a key factor in its development over the past nine months.

Entrepreneurship and skill acquisition have proven to be essential tools in the fight against unemployment and economic stagnation.

By fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and providing opportunities for skill development, Nigeria can pave the way for a brighter, more prosperous future.
