Economic Hardship in Nigeria: Nigerians to Smile Again Under Tinubu – Edun

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, has assured that President Bola Tinubu’s government will soon make Nigerians smile again.

Speaking at the burial of Dr Onaolapo Soleye, a former Finance Minister, Edun expressed optimism that the current administration is prioritizing the welfare of the citizens above all else.

Despite the current economic challenges, Edun remains confident that the Nigerian economy will soar higher under the leadership of President Tinubu.

Nigerians have been enduring a difficult time as prices of food items and other commodities continue to rise.

During his tenure, Soleye, who served under the military regime of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), was instrumental in resolving trade disputes and fostering economic growth.

In recognition of his contributions to the nation’s economy, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State announced plans to immortalise Soleye, with the state government set to name an edifice in his honor.

As Nigeria moves forward under the leadership of President Tinubu, the government’s focus on the welfare of its citizens and the growth of the economy offers hope that Nigerians will indeed smile again.
