Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande has reached a personal agreement with Real Madrid, Sky Germany reported. The 19-year-old Leipzig star and the Spanish club have settled contract terms, though negotiations over the transfer fee remain ongoing.
Madrid's €100m opening bid fell short of Leipzig's valuation for the talented youngster. The LaLiga side currently leads the race to secure Diomande's signature.
Diomande had previously signalled his desire to join Paris Saint-Germain this summer and inked a deal running until 2031 with the French club. He has now committed to similar terms with Madrid as well.
Leipzig continue demanding substantially more than Madrid's initial offer before they'll release their prized asset. The two clubs remain in talks to bridge the gap on the fee.
