Raphael Onyedika is closing in on a permanent move to Eintracht Frankfurt, with negotiations between the German club and Club Brugge in their final stages. German publication Kicker first reported the development.
The transfer is set to be wrapped up early next week, according to sources close to the deal. Frankfurt will reportedly hand over €9 million to land the Nigeria midfielder.
The Bundesliga side has chased Onyedika twice before without success. Last season, the 25-year-old netted against Frankfurt in a UEFA Champions League encounter.
During his time at Club Brugge, Onyedika lifted two Belgian league titles, a Belgian Cup and a Belgian Super Cup. He's now poised to take his next step in his career in Germany.
