Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ede Dafinone, has congratulated the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, on the occasion of his 47th birth anniversary, praising his leadership and contributions to governance in the state.
In a goodwill message dated April 1, 2026, the senator described the milestone as “a fitting moment to celebrate your life of service, your dedication to leadership, and your continued contributions to the growth and stability of Delta State.”
Dafinone commended Guwor’s stewardship of the State Assembly, noting that under his leadership, the House has operated with unity and discipline while remaining committed to its constitutional responsibilities. “Under your guidance, the House has continued to function with unity, discipline, and a strong commitment to its constitutional mandate, thereby strengthening democratic governance in our dear state,” he stated.
The lawmaker particularly highlighted the Speaker’s efforts in fostering collaboration between the legislative and executive arms of government, describing it as instrumental to the progress recorded in the state. According to him, “your commitment to fostering a harmonious working relationship with the Executive arm, in alignment with the MORE Agenda, is particularly noteworthy,” adding that the synergy has “significantly enhanced effective governance, accelerated development, and ensured that the dividends of democracy are felt more broadly across Delta State.”
Dafinone further applauded Guwor’s role in promoting peace and inclusiveness, stressing that his leadership has helped sustain a stable political environment. “Your leadership has helped sustain an environment conducive to progress, reinforcing the collective aspiration for a more prosperous and united Delta State,” he said.
Senator Dafinone wished the Speaker good health and continued success, expressing optimism that his tenure would yield even greater impact. “As you mark this milestone, I wish you continued good health, divine wisdom, and greater accomplishments in the years ahead,” the statement added.
