Pascal Okechukwu, the nightlife entrepreneur known as Cubana Chief Priest, has broken his silence over his failed APC primary bid. He contested for the House of Representatives seat representing Orsu/Orlu/Oru East in Imo State.

Cubana polled just 14 votes during the primary election. The setback came despite his visible backing of President Bola Tinubu's administration.

Social media users had a field day mocking him after the loss. Many questioned how someone so prominent could perform so poorly at the polls.

In a video that circulated online, Cubana addressed the outcome directly. He noted that contesting wasn't something he regretted, describing himself as a hustler.

What disappointed him most, however, was the betrayal by community elders. According to him, he'd given generously to these leaders ahead of the election.

"Only 14 people voted for me in the primary," he said in the clip. Cubana serves as Imo State Coordinator of the City Boys Movement.
